Auto Evaporation The Auto Evaporation feature provides uninterrupted cooling by eliminating the need to manually empty a water collection pan or bucket. Instead, condensation is continually exhausted through the window in the form of hot air and water vapor by way of the exhaust hose.  How Does It Work? 1. Warm, humid air is drawn from the room into the portable air conditioner. 2. Humidity is pulled from the air and drops as water from the coils into the water collection area in the base of the air conditioner. 3. A turbine fan picks up the collected water and sprays it onto the hot condenser coil where it evaporates into water vapor. 4. The water vapor, along with the heat removed from the room is blown out of the discharge hose and passes out of the room through the included window kit. 5.
